Phew Time For A Break Now:P Week 11 and Wrap Up Week

okie sooo first and foremost, here are pics of my amazing package from Meladia Starseeker!!!

so when i opened the box i found tons and tons of klennex!!!:) lol which is actually cool cause i was in need of some:D

after about 5ish inches of klennex here is all the goodies!!!:D

here is everything laid out!!:D the whole kit was a animals themed kit:D

beautiful "winter wear for animal care", i love the colors and cant wait to wear them!!:)

here are some "animal training wands" for my animal care, i've always wanted some light up knitting needles!!!:D

a BEAUTIFUL "animal feeding bag" which is most def neccesary for caring for animals, this bag will be a great project bag as it holds the yarn while letting it through a hole, my fav type of project bag

some yummy tea and a mug for the end a long day of animal training:) as well as some yummy green yarn too:)

a new animal training book, i love amigurumi!!! and these ones are mini!!!:D as well as a tom riddle diary in which ill keep track of all my animals and what not

2 new animals for me, an owl to go with my hedwig and a pretty wolf, some great animals made by Meladia herself, some new needles and hooks, and some yummy black yarn, thanks soooo soooo much Meladia!!!!:D

next order of business, i did pretty good at the craft fair this year, not as much as i would have liked but i made about $420ish, and i have a few orders to get started on as well.... now i just need to do well at school these last few weeks...

HP and The Deathly Hallows!!!!!!!!!:D Week 10

sooooo just saw the movie and OMG that was awesome!!!!:D now mind you all i have not read the 7th book, yes i know i'm horrible that i havent read it yet but thats cause every time i get my hands on a book i only get a few chapters in before the book disappears again:P i promise to have it read by the last movie:P lol:) but yeah i loved this movie, i cant wait to go see it again when its not as crowded and maybe with someone not as annoying as my friend was or maybe just by myself:P anyways some highlights that are spoilers??? bill is hott!!:D officially want all the weasley brothers, aside from percy:P lol, tho i donno what charlie looks like... have they ever shown him in the movies??? anyways yeah thats my update of the week:P

and onto the note of swap kit, plan on picking up the last of everything this weekend and shipping it out on monday, need to make a basilik still too... will have it all done by monday for sure:P

yayness!!! soo far this weekend i've dressed up emo and today i'm heading over to a halloween derby bout, which should be freaking awesome!!:) and then tomorrow is the ghost hunters live halloween special that i'll be watching while doing hmwk thats due this coming week:P anyways here is the assignment for the week:)

Ughness For Being Sick!!:( Week 6

soooo since there was no assignment for the week and it seems my saved draft wont post here is my blog post for week 6:

sooo i am completely sick again, which means i'm taking lots of nyquil and dayquil, which also means that the duel on saturday was really hard for me, for some reason i just couldnt understand the darn pattern, soo the awesome mutz won the duel with her amazing pattern understanding:P i still need to finish the gloves, i have frogged them and plan on doing them over again with a size F hook as the size C hook wouldnt even fit a little kids hand....

hmm what else, o school is still going on and i'm sooo ready for it to be over already am sooo sick of latin hmwk and the rest of my classes as well, o and then they are changing over to heaters and doing safety checks this week:P

sooo yeah havent been doing much else but hmwk and sleeping lately... i did finish my handmade item and now just need to do shopping for the last of the stuff:P

When Planning An Outdoors Trip... Week 2

... 5 things i would def wanna bring is:

1) for sure one of two of my many amazingily comfy blankets
2) a light source of some sort to read/knit/etc by
3) all my knitting/crocheting stuff that way i could keep busy and warm cause i could make stuff to wear or sell if im on the run
4) i really good book or two, cause i LOVE reading
5) food of course:P

lol there are soo many things i would totally wanna bring but yeah those are what first came to mind:P sooo second week and i lost internet for a little so havent done much stalking yet... once i have the WIP i'm working on right now done i'll have soo much more free time as well... muggle school is keeping me on my toes, exam time this next week or so:( sooo really just trying to push thru everything and keep working on getting things done:)

soo summer camp is over and a new term at HSKS has started and this term we are all about DADA and HP7... which i still need to read by the way, maybe ill start that shortly.... anyways i am on the Hermione's Heroic Brainiacs!!:) my spoilee this term is suenosdejmi/Genevra Dreamy and my spoiler is dannibeez/Lexi Lovegood!!!:D okie now to assignment time....

soo here is my awesome back from Catriona Lestrange (StrangeCat)!!! now i totally openned it and then had to run soo had started putting everything away really fast without taking pictures, but i am pretty sure i got everything except yarn and pattern and handmade item, i plan on looking for were i put them so i can take a picture of them:)

soo i got some fun tie-dyeing stuff which will be fun to do on one of my long weekends:)

some fun HP candy, the jelly bean ones are gonna be "fun" to try as the have some good flavors and they have some eww flavors but they all look alike!!!:D then some nice bamboo needles, and some wool cleaner...

a new stitch counter, which i actually needed cause i totally cant find my first one, and then some S'more earrings!!! they will go perfect with my toast earrings!:D

sadness week 5 is here which means that summer camp is ending:( i wish i could have been able to participate more in the games tho i did find one balloon before anyone else!!:) i feel horrible and hope that i'm not put on the blacklisted swappers list for falling behind in posting my handmade item and talking to my cabin leader about it, i really hope they know that i always follow thru with the swap... this package is almost done, finally got the handmade item finallized, with the help of my mum:P so will be starting on that tonight and it should be done tomorrow, and then everything will be able to go out on friday!!:D i really hope my partner loves it all:) okie back to knitting...

okie so i guess its time for a little about me post, i donno if it will help or anything, i am gonna use some of the ideas posted in our camp cabin blog:

Knit vs Crochet: i like both and really which one i chose to do really just depends on what kinda amount of work and concentration i have time for and am in the mood for

Brands you would like to try but dont have easy access to: thats pretty much most brands, i only have a walmart, hobby lobby and joanns that i can go to for yarn, unless i'm ordering online, so my options are limited:(

Favorite fibers/least favorite fibers: havent found one i didnt like at all yet, tho i do not like cotton unless it is soft

Favorite colors/least favorite colors: i love green and purple, fall and jewel tones; i dont like bright obnoxious colors

Yarn weight preferences: i tend to work most with worsted, but i love pretty much any weight

Favorite projects: i do a lot of mitts, hats, scarves, and amigurumi; i am always up for trying something new tho:)

Favorite gadgets: hmmm i donno....:/

Favorite designers: i donno really any, so i guess i'm ready to be surprised:)

Salty vs. Sweet: more often sweet, like fruity and/or gummy candy, not often chocolate, but do like dark chocolate; salty is one of those things i would havta be in the mood for i guess, i donno...

Tea vs. Coffe: tea, coffee makes me sick and nauseous; green teas, not to fruity tea, not really black tea

Allergies: none that i know of

Other things you like, i.e., buttons, pens, fabric, stitchmarkers, etc: i like pretty stitch markers but have enough basic ones you can get at joanns and walmart, id love a new counter that you actually click,

- sooo i both knit and crochet and i'm always up for a new challenge, however i hate really small yarn at the moment.

- sooo i love knit/crochet books of any kind such as amigurumi or really any that are just really fun; I already have “Kyuuto! Japanese Crafts! Amigurumi”, “Crobots”, “Charmed Knits”, “Get Hooked, Again”, "Creepy Cute Crochet"

- I love amigurumi because its really easy to make and so I sell them at my schools craft fair, however I prefer crochet over knit amigurumi

- other books i would like "Japanese Inspired Knits", "Haiku Knits", "KnockDown Knits", "Domiknitrix", "Pints and Purls", and i really have many many more ---

- my collection of needles and hooks is pretty good, I’ve updated my rav stash of needles, but i have come to really hate my bamboo needles so i'd love those in metal

- I do really want a nice zip up holder for all my dpn and crochet hooks, but finally got one for my long needles so dont need another, it can be bought or handmade

- I love candy, not really chocolate but will still eat it; I love tea but not the fruity kinds of tea, I’m more of a green tea girl

- I do not drink coffee at all but I LOVE mugs, execially big, deep mugs because then I can put soup or cereal in them as well as tea

- Homemade stuff is awesome be it food or craft:D

- I’m a simple person to please, shiny stuff or pretty colors gets me every time, i'm also very laid back, lol!:D

Summer Camp Has Started!!!!:D Week 1

soo i'm way excited for HSKS Summer Camp to start again!!:D this swap is gonna be my first on a really really tight budget so its gonna be interesting and kinda fun to figure out how to make an awesome package and still keep on budget, we will see...

sooo i guess i should probably update my blog here since i havent been able to do much with it lately, which is sad but true, tho i shouldnt complain cause once the semester starts up again i am gonna busy close to 24/7:( but i will just havta make myself get stuff like this done:) soo i'm thinking i need to update my wish list, go thru my knitpicks wish list, maybe make an amazon wish list, i donno whatelse... need to put up our treehouse picture to show my camphouse pride:)

well i'm off to work yet again now, so stalking and updating will havta wait for just a little...

yay!!! sooo this past saturday i received my swap package from Genevra Dreamy!!! her owl def had a lot to carry sooo hopefully it is home now resting:)

soooo this package was packed full with awesomeness!!!!!:)

i got one of the books i've been dying to have Pints and Purls, so pretty yarn to make i believe on of the hats out of the book, and some WAY pretty photos that i need to find nice frames for so i can put them up in my new place:)

a nice pin that goes with the Lupin theme and magnet:) some chapstick, which by the way i'm obsessed with chapstick!!:P some nice metal size 9 dbl points which i need cause i hate the bamboo ones i have

some fun coasters that are gonna be great for my new place:) and then a cell phone sock, the sock item of the package, that will hold both my phone AND my ipod at the same time, which is good cause i carry both in my backpack all the time where they get scratched, but not anymore:)

sooo first i wanna appologize to my fellow griffs for not posting the past week or so:( i am way sorry and am happy that finals and moving are finally over so that i can actually put more time into the swap:/ sooo yeah didnt do to well on grades again this semester so not to happy about that but atleast i passed everything:) i also did find a place to live, a nice cute little studio a block from campus, soooo i havta now put together all the furniture and stuff that im getting from home and bring them to my new place at the end of june when i go back to abq to visit... im happy with my new place even if its small, i have a bathtub and a kitchen sooo all is good:)

hmmm whatelse... o yeah i have finished my handmade item, and yeah i know its late but i will post it up on our house common room anyways, i have also started putting together my spoiliee's package now that i'm home for the summer and have free time:) have plans for major stalking of my spoilee this week:D

o and me and my mum have started a 30 day challenge at curves and hope that working out 6 days a week and eating healthier will show in 30 days:) we will havta see;P

soooo this is the 2nd to last week of school, finals are next week... ugh am so not ready or finished with all my papers that are due... ooo might have found a place to live and as long as my sister pulls thru and doesnt bail on me and the house is awesome then i will have a place to live tonight!!:) lol ofcourse if it doesnt work then i need to get figured out what i'm gonna do and when my parents need to come out and get me from the dorms... starting handmade item tomorrow just need to find the right yarn... okie back to hmwk now...

phew, i am glad college is almost over, i need summer to come quick so i can get back to being organized and what not, plan on exercising galore and skating everyday (or at least try to) in order to build up my legs and body for roller derby... hmm summer:) lol anyways i feel like a horrible spoiler cause i've barely had time to do much on the handmade item let alone find all the awesome stuff for their package... maybe this weekend i'll have some free time:P

yayness our first hmwk assignment!!!:)

sooo i believe on my questionnaire i put prof lupin 1st, i love him, not only is he hott as hell but he is also a way interesting character and i'm kinda into weres at the moment;)
i then put "the weasley twins" 2nd, and yes i picture them together so i'm just gonna count them as one person, but again i love them, they are way funny and a good addition to the books as well as they are uber hott red heads!!;) really i love all the weasley boys, i really love molly and arthur as well, and i find ginny completely obnoxious:P
and then lastly i put snape, hehe probably cause i'm a slytherin at heart some days and just love how he interacts with all the main characters as well as he too is hott:)

OMG i have not really had a break yet this winter break!!! i've either been working at working, working at home to finish WIPs, or sitting at the doctors' offices!!! but even tho all that chaos and stress is going on i must post about my awesome package a got from Amethyst Aurag!!!

Soo i got some yummy HP candy which is already gone, the blood pops were soo good:) a cool rememberal (thats probably not how its spelled), some pretty stitch markers, and awesome pen that i can wait to use, an amazing set of teas, which i must say my mum already has her eye on them:) a new amigurumi book which has such cute creatures in it that i cant pick which one i wanna do first since i wanna do them all!!!:) very pretty and soft purple and black yarn to go with the Bella's Mitts and Victoria's Cowl (not sure if those are the full titles) which i cant wait to make once i have finished all my xmas WIPs, a very cool purple and yellow bag that will be great to carry projects around in, and last but not least two little bones for my puppy and a kitty toy as well:)

so i'm thankful for my family, i see everyday how the family unit is becoming more and more gone and how no one gets along with there parents anymore nor do the parents act like parents anymore, i must say that i have a great relationship with my parents, i can always talk to them about anything and they have found the perfect balance between being my friend and being a true parent... i wish that these kinds of parents werent disapearing.... and although me and my lil bro dont get along most of the time, i'm still happy to have him:)

i'm also very thankful for my friends new and old who are still my friends, my sister (in the sorority sense) ky is always there for me, my new friend stephen has def helped me stay sane this semester, and to all my older friends who still keep in touch and act like friends:)

there is plenty more i'm thankful for but these are the two main ones keeping me sane and on track in my life right now when life isnt

sooo taking a break from quidditch practice, i went to the midnight showing of NEW MOON on thursday!!!:) omg it was uber fun, we showed up at the theater at like 6pm, which was actually pretty good timing cause 30 mins later tons of ppl were showing up to get in line! we got pretty darn good seats and we made a photo story of the whole thing:) one of the let downs was that we thought because we were the 1st showing that we would be in one of the bigger houses in the theater but i guess they mixed us up with a later showing and so sadly we didnt get to see both twilight and new moon like we were supposed to, the ppl at the later showing in the house we were supposed be in... lucky!!! *silently shakes fist* but yeah movie was freaking awesome and i believe that i've def am now on team jacob, this movie really makes you feel for him... basically go watch it everyone!!:D

on a side note... still have not heard from my spoiler, starting to get a little upset cause who knows if i'll even get a package, let alone if it will be anything i like at all since the person never talks to me...

sooo i got my kit i think at the end of not this last week but the week before... unfortunately my dorms "new and improved and better" wireless sucks and so i havent been able to do much on the internet... anyways here is my most awesome kit from Phelicia Phoenixfire!!

so i got TWO kits!!! one was the Herbology Kit: Dayflower Lace Scarf and Knit Picks Andean Silk in Imperial and Jade... the second one was the Care of Magical Creatures Kit: Octavias the Magic (loop) Owl, which is her own written pattern and Sugar and Cream Cotton in Warm Brown... she also added another scarf pattern called Easy Drop Stitch Scarf Pattern!:D she also sent size 7 dpns which i'm always using so a second set is awesome!!:) sock looking needle protectors which is another thing i'm always in need of:P a bag full of Zen Green Tea which is one of my favorite teas and then not shown in the picture was a big bag of sour worms that were actually sour!!!:D they were the best!!!:D

then this was made by her as a sort of Transformation Kit, she said she used an old sweater which she then felted... it sooo pretty and has pockets inside and a cute bow with a little kitty in the middle, and tho i'm not much of a purse girl i deff will be using this for my small knitting projects:)

soo this is a back story since i'm updating everything but i got this great Wisecrack (aka RAOK) from Pandora Phelps!!

there was some yummy tic tacs, a very pretty leaf stitch marker, and cool snitch kit with "Hogwarts Pride Knitting Needles" in size .0something (basically toothpick size), a "hank" of gold "yarn" (aka thread), and a pattern for making a snitch all shrunk down in size for cheaper shipping cost

lol so i tried knitting with them and it does actually work but there wasnt enough thread so my pretty hank of thread is no longer pretty cause i dont know how to make it into the hank prettiness:)

Purpose: Technically, the only purpose at Camp is to have fun, make friends and make a cool kit! To that end, these games serve all three of these things. Feel free to ask your cabin mates and fellow campers who they are, what they are about… you can do the minimum, do nothing at all, go overboard… it’s up to you. What do you get out of it? Other than friends??? Well, maybe a cool plaque for your cabin and a little noteriety for a clever remark or something… that’s all. Summer Camp is not like regular schooltime at Hogwarts. I have to tell you about the 1 time I had in Diagon Alley last weekend!

My friend Rowena Bladvak and I decided that we really needed some new stich markers and had to get over to Diagon Alley immediately. Rowena Bladvak put on their belt because it was blue and did not want to get a cold. I grabbed my keys and we headed to the trains.

While waiting for our train to Diagon Alley, we chatted with Pren the Wierd and Lydia Figg who were planning to visit Gringott’s. Lydia Figg did not want to go alone because he/she was collecting a pan and that was very tall and brought Pren the Wierd along for their excellence in protecting spells.

The train arrived and off we went. Our seats were very comfortable and the train sped along towards Diagon Alley and we were there in a flash! Before heading to the Yrsa’s Yarn Shoppe, we went into a car that sells the ugly turkey(s)!!! As we neared the car, we noticed quite a lot of commotion! The car owner had set the turkey-making machine and it had gotten stuck! turkey (s) were fattening everywhere! I ducked as a cream-filled turkey came fattening right at me and it unsweetened into Professor Solem ’s underwear just as they walked through the door! A cherry turkey did a nose dive and splattered all over the wall most elaborately! We made it out of the store just as a turkey frog and a kettle of Bertie Bott’s every flavor beans collided in a rainstorm of goo!

Since we were still red, we walked the 4 blocks over to Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor! I decided on a cone with spicy ice cream and Rowena Bladvak got the hot fudge sundae with extra fudge(s)! Yummy! Professor Solem had made their way over here as well after the incident at the turkey shoppe and had chosen a Baybreeze float.

After that, we passed Gringott’s and headed to Yrsa’s Yarn Shoppe! I tried not to look at the beautiful skeins of silk and bamboo and wool and instead, headed toward the stich markers while Rowena Bladvak stopped to run the stitch markers. I found a square stich markers made out of steel and made my purchase. Rowena Bladvak kept hedging between the stich markers she came for and a pattern for a amigurumi. She chose the amigurumi pattern and we walked the back towards the train station just in time to make the 12:30 train.

After sitting down, we noticed Pren the Weird and Lydia Figg were on the train as well. Lydia Figg looked quite bubbly to have the pan with them. Pren the Weird however did not look bubblied at all. While waiting to go into the vault, a baby goblin waiting in line with his Mommy, had tested on Pren the Weird getting Kool-aid all over their clean robes! The smell really was just horrendous! Apparently, Pren the Weird ’s protecting spells don’t work well against Kool-aid!! We made our way to a less smelly compartment and talked about how we were going explain missing Professor Flitwick ’s lecture on the valuable ways hippogriff (s) are working with the Department of Mysteries in solving unsolvable cat(s)!

yayness!!! sooo sorry that this has taken sooo long to get put up, my computer and camera have been working together against me lately:) lol... anyways here is my awesome swap package from Rowena Bladvak, she did such an awesome awesome job with getting everything right and what i like:) sorry my camera is pretty old soo the pictures arent all the good lighting and color wise...

sooo here is the bag with everything in it!!!

and here is all the amazing goodies inside of it!!:)

here is the bag, its griff colors obviously, its a nice wide bag soo it'll be awesome to put projects i'm doing in it next to my comfy chair without everything falling out and taking up a lot of room!

so not only did she make me a bag but she also made me TWO pairs of fingerless gloves in griff colors, which i have already used and are very warm

she sent me TWO fingerless mitt patterns, one of the being bella's fingerless mits, which i've been wanting to do!:D as well as another pattern that looks way pretty and it is long mitts which will be nice when i'm home during the winter

as well as the awesome new dpns that i was deff in need of, some needle protectors which are good cause my projects are normally on the floor and i hate when i get a needle in my foot, and then some stitch holders which i'm normally always using

sooo i must say that she picked out some awesome music to put on my "wierd sisters" greates hits cd!:D and she even sent some wool wash stuff so that i could learn to wash my wools correctly so that i dont ruin my new mitts and the mitts now in the works

yayness for goodies!!!:) i LOVE LOVE LOVE Tazo green tea!!!:) and i LOVE skittles and even the coffee chocolates she sent were pretty good... my bf says tho that i dont need these goodies as i'm trying to get healthy and lose some weight but i just told him that because she sent them i just HAD to eat them, lol!!:D

Also that same day i recieved a cool ROAK from another swap that i'm in but i still wanted to show everyone the pretty yarn, its malabrigo yarn thats a pretty green blue mix, i had said that i never seen or used malabrigo before and so i ended up getting this in the mail as an ROAK!!:) i love new yarn!!! now i just need to figure out what to make with it... hmm...

St.Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt

sooo i finished this at 12:19pm MST which means it is 11:19pm PST, sooo yay i got it done before the deadline!!!:D i hope you all like it!!:)

It's time for a photo-scavenger hunt! I know it's just after St. Patrick's Day, but leprechauns are year-round, right? I'd like to invite all 4 Houses to participate in this fun scavenger hunt. Here's your lucky list!

yayness!!:) okie sooo i was way excited for this and after realizing i needed a "marker" in each picture i decided to use one of my new friends, Delta Turtle!!! lol, sooo yes i quick background on DT is that he is one of my many turtles i've been making for my sisters in Delta Psi Rho!! anyways sooo basically here is what me and DT came up with:

CLOAK
ok soo a cloak was kinda hard cause i couldnt decide if it was only something that had a hood or if it was anything you used as a way large coat, after DT looked up Cloak on wikipedia, we decided that it was anything soo we went the Roman ruite and here is us with my Roman Soldier-ish Cloak:

unfortunatly me and DT couldnt find anything really all that pretty to be Helga's Cup but we decided that this wine glass was pretty close, DT wanted to pose in the Cup but he was to fat!:D

We found some Devil's Snare on campus (yes that is a real, live, growing plant in the pic), ofcourse DT "somehow" got stuck in it, luckily a fellow hogwarts student walked by and got him out

Diadem
soo after again not really knowing what this word was DT looked it up, he learned that it is a Greek word for the type of headband that the Greek monarchs, DT decided that he wanted to be a noble and sooo made his own Diadem, doesnt he look cute!!:D

DT loves the book "The Tale of Desperaux" and so has been running around with a pin as his Sword, i finally had to give him a plastic pin cause i kept stepping on the metal one, but to make it up to him i made him a cute outfit to go with his Sword

Tombstone pizza is mine and DT's favorite pizza and luckily loving bf bought some on his shopping trip to the store:D
Wand
tho i left my actually Wand at home (mum is air mailling that this weekend), this two needles are the only Wands i really need to work magic with yarn!!:D

sooo yet again we didnt win, tho from what i'm hearing we should have, just like last time... yeah i think Headmistress needs to stop flip flopping because she gave it to the ravenclaws again saying that they found it before she put up the directions and therefore still get it even tho they didnt put the full answer, this is exactly what happend to us last round but she didnt give it to us!!!! ugh make up you mind this isnt mewalk rules!!! (so if you dont get mewalk rules, it basically means she who is in charges makes and can change the rules when ever she wants, it something i got from a tv show about alice in wonderland that used to be on tv when i was way young) anyways i'm quite upset and a little peeved now!!! grrr!!!!!

okie have now looked it up and yes we should have won this round because clara clearwater posted first with the COMPLETE answer! GRRRR!!!!

okie soo headmistress is totally playing mewalk rules, she states in her post "snitch sighing" on the HSKS7 blog that: “You can expect the Snitch to be released in the same fashion as last time and there will definitely be instruction on posting something from the site where the Snitch is found as well as posting the direct location of the Snitch.” this is bs and i'm quite upset that she is going back on her word!!!

ugh ugh ugh i donno if i wanna play quidditch anymore cause there is no set rules its whatever headmistress decides, she can even changes what she decides at the last minute if she wants, unfair!!

sooo my trip to Hogsmeade went pretty fast, as i didnt have much time nor money:) anyways sooo i first stopped over at Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop to pick up some new quills... i got a little angry with a Greek translation and may have broken the one i had in half... sooo wow there was so many cool Quills in there but i ended up just getting a basic one so that if it "breaks" again it wont be to much of a matter, then i went to Honeydukes Sweetshop for as much candy as i possibly could... candy is so helpfull when your feeling down:D and then my last stop was The Three Broomsticks for a nice warming drink before walking back to Hogwarts for more hmwk....

if i have time i will do the griff assignment that was due last week....

soo yeah long long long week... am having troubles in delta... thinking it might not be the right place, to small for my big personality.... behind in all my hmwk, need to get my gpa back up.... need to do medieval times hmwk.... cant find job.... well i'm hoping and praying that i can get back on track with my life soon.... phew:(

it is a sad day today!:( we were this ________ close to winning the first round and unfortunately we didnt fully read the instructions and so we posted the link and then since winnie said we were almost there everyone else just went to the link we posted and actually read the instructions... so personally i am gonna say that we won thanks to lydia figg who was the first of all of hogwarts to find the snitch!!!! good job lydia!!!:D anywho ravenclaw is who got the win so oh well to them who just jumped to lydia's post and finished the directions... booo....:(

so i just did my first duel round and lost based on the delivery time of my partners package: 4am this morning!!! of course i think that thats totally unfair cause it wasnt actually delivered to me it was delivered to my school, it was actually delievered to me at 1pm when my school's mail center opens with the new mail of the day... so yeah i'm a little upset and probably sound like a poor loser but whatever now i've learned that when i do another one of these duels, i havta have it sent to my boyfriend's house so that it will actually be delievered to me on the time it says it was delievered... ugh:( anyways on a happier tone, the hat my partner made is awesome!!:D its nice fallish colors and tho it isnt tight like a beanie, its more like a beret which fits kinda nicely, thanks a bunch cassie goode!!:D

i hope she really likes the hat i made for her cause i tried to get the blues and purples that she liked, mine fits more like a beanie tho.... i think it came out awesomely!!:D

lol, sooo yeah update on swap stuff: i have started the handmade bag, just need to pick up more yarn to finish the pieces then sew them together and then i want to sew a lining for the bag so that she can use it as a bag bag and not fear of things slipping out. i've found the yarn im gonna get for the fingerless mitts kit and what pattern, i just need to order the yarn and print out the pattern and put it in something nice, then im starting to get some ideas for other fun things to put in the bag... i hope that she'll love everything when the term is over and we send out our packages.

Muggle World Update: so tomorrow is my first pledge testing for delta psi rho sooo everyone wish me luck!! and then also wish me luck for my ancient greek exam on friday!!!:D

happy valentines day all!!!:) sooo i have now finished my first duel and i hope that it gets to cassie goode frist cause i'd like to get past the first bracket at least, the hat took quite a while to finish, i think i must be rustier then i thought with knitting that and the pattern was wierd i had to change everything so that it would work and then i sewed it to make it look nice too:) so i'm not sure yet how to add images sooo i will post a pic of it as soon as i know what i'm doing... hmmm sooo i didnt my v-day gifts for everyone done yet, i'm gonna try and finish those tonight so that i can give them tomorrow... ugh sooo i love v-day but man i ate way to much candy today and my stomach is already rebeling:( but man my bf deff surprised me!!:) he got me yummy chocolate, the cool martini sharker thing i've been wanting plus 4 awesome looking glasses to go with it, AND he got me the 2nd season of GREEK!!! omg i soo was just expecting some candy and a cool stuffed animal or something like that, like last year, and dont get me wrong thats all i really need but he deff did well and gain tons of brownie points:D hmmm... nothing else new...

hmmm.... okie sooo after looking at a couple of other ppl's list here is mine....

Wish List:

sooo i love knit/crochet books, i really like amigurumi ones cause i make them and sell them at the school's craft fair, i already have "Kyuuto! Japanese Crafts! Amigurumi", other books that have patterns for cute little things or just cute things in general, and i like books like the charmed knits book (i already have that tho)

my collection of needles and hooks is pretty good but i'm just now starting my dpn collection i think what i have right now is size 4 and size 8, oo a holder for what i have would be kinda cool, even more if its homemade, i have the long needles tho so i can never find a holder for them that zips all the way up

yarn, ooo i love yarn, pretty, soft, new, i love it all!!:D

i love candy, not really chocolate but will still eat it

tea is good as long as its not a fruity tea, im more into green tea and the like, ooo and i love chai that you pour into milk (if that makes sense), i dont drink coffee at all, i love mugs, i love love love deep mugs because then i can put soup in them as well as tea
